Dear Wang Yilin, 　　I am so sorry to hear about your father. You know how fond of Mr. Wang my father and I were. He was always so kind to me, and I deeply admired his generous and selfless nature. He lived a long life, and I am so grateful that I was able to know him. And he had such a wonderful attitude about life, even though he had suffered so much in different ways. I remember fondly how you told me how sometimes he would get on the bus and get his haircut at the old barber shop in Wangfujing. He had such spirit even at his age, it was wonderful. 　　I feel so glad that I was able to see Mr. Wang the last time I was in Beijing two years ago. He was in the hospital then, and was quite surprised to see me walk in!
