亲爱的王先生和鲍女士： 　　我们公司和全体员工为失去王旭深感痛心。在此向您和您的家人表示最深切的慰问和遗憾。 　　虽然我们没有机会和王旭共事很长时间，但是在他和我们一起工作的这段时间内，我们已经非常了解他。王旭在VLSI(超大规模集成电路)组工作，是我们组不可或缺的成员之一，为我们的产品设计集成电路。王旭是一名非常聪明、勤奋的员工，他总是面带微笑，言语幽默，给大家带来欢乐。他工作勤奋，性情温和，对人总是彬彬有礼。王旭有许多朋友，在同学中有很好的口碑。 　　一个好的人是可以把大家凝聚在一起的。尽管我们生活在世界的两个不同的地方，有许多国家、文化以及语言上的不同，但王旭在这里仍然表现出了中华民族的优良传统和伟大品质。所有认识他以及和他一起工作的人有更多的机会了解他。虽然我们有着不同的文化，但当一个我们爱着的人离开我们的时候，我们发现我们都会受伤，会哭泣。我们大家将会永远怀念王旭。您们的儿子非常杰出，您们应该为他感到骄傲。 　　我引用以下两国传统的诗歌来表达对王旭的纪念： 　　我失骄杨君失柳，杨柳扶摇直上重霄九。 　　我们用这首诗来表达Celox公司失去一位杰出的员工和朋友以及您们失去儿子的悲痛。 　　下面的句子是由一个3000多年前的国王写的，几千年来为许多人带来慰籍： 　　耶和华是我的牧者。我必不至缺乏。他使我躺卧在青草地上，领我在可安歇的水边。他使我的灵魂苏醒，为自己的名引导我走义路。我虽然行过死亡的幽谷， 也不怕遭害。因为你与我同在。… … 我一生一世必有恩惠慈爱随着我。我且要住在耶和华的殿中，直到永远。 　　致以深切悼念。 　　此致 　　敬礼 　　Celox Networks的朋友和家人 John Gladden 　　 　　 Dear Mr. and Mrs. Wang, 　　Our company and our team was greatly saddened by the loss of Xu and we extend our deepest sympathy and regrets to you and your family. 　　We did not have the opportunity to know Xu very long but during the time that he worked with us we got to know Xu well.Xu worked on our VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) team at Celox and was one of the critical members that helped us to design integrated circuits for our products.Xu was known to be a very smart and dedicated worker who always had an engaging smile and cheerful words for all.He worked very hard and long hours but always maintained a very pleasant disposition and was always respectful.Xu had many friends and was well thought of by all of his colleagues. 　　There is something about the life of a good man that binds people together.Even though we live a half a world apart, with very different countries, cultures, and languages, Xu lived a life that demonstrated the very best of the great Chinese culture and attributes.All of us who knew him and worked with him are much richer for knowing him.In spite of the different cultures, in the end we find that we are all people and we all hurt and we all cry when a loved one is taken away.Xu will be sorely missed by all.You should be very proud of your son as he was indeed a very special person. 　　To honor Xu, I would like to close with traditional words from both the Chinese and American cultures: 　　These words are from a Chinese poet where the “poplar” is a metaphor of the writer’s lost wife and the “willow” is a metaphor of the wife’s lost husband. 　　I lost my poplar but thou lose your willow, they will both live happily in paradise. 　　In this case we use the poem to describe the deep sorrow that Celox feels in losing an outstanding employee and friend and that Xu’s parents feel in losing their son. 　　The following words were written by a king over 3000 years ago and have brought comfort to many throughout the ages: 　　 　　The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His names sake.
